HoppKit is available on all devices:Install the PWA (Web):
  1. Open hoppkit.app in your browser
  2. Tap "Share" (Safari) or the menu icon (Chrome)
  3. Select "Add to Home Screen"
HoppKit is available in three languages: German, English, and French.

Change language:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Scroll to "Language"
  3. Select German, English, or French

On first use, the language is automatically detected from your browser or device settings.

HoppKit separates the UI language (German, English, French) from the format for numbers, currencies, and dates. For example, you can use the app in English but still see dates as DD/MM/YYYY (en-GB) or decimals with a comma instead of a period.

How to set it:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Pick your UI language under "Language"
  3. Below that, pick your preferred formatting locale (e.g. en-US, en-GB, de-DE, fr-FR)

Both settings are stored independently and affect all views (expenses, budget, date formats, distances).

Yes! You can add HoppKit widgets to your home screen on both iOS and Android (Small, Medium, and Large). The widgets show:
  • Active trip β€” today's plan with places and category icons
  • Upcoming trip β€” a countdown to your trip start
  • No trip β€” a fallback when no trip is active
Add a widget (iOS):
  1. Long-press on your home screen
  2. Tap "+" in the top left
  3. Search for "HoppKit"
  4. Choose Small, Medium, or Large
Add a widget (Android):
  1. Long-press on your home screen
  2. Tap "Widgets"
  3. Find "HoppKit"
  4. Drag your preferred size to the home screen

Data is automatically refreshed every 2 hours and synced when you open the app. Tapping the widget opens the relevant screen in the app.

HoppKit comes in three tiers. Free is free of charge; Basic and Pro are available monthly or yearly (Basic €3.99 / €39.99 Β· Pro €9.99 / €89.99 β€” the yearly plan saves roughly 2 months).

Free β€” trip-planning essentials: 1 active trip, up to 3 members, places/days/map, hotels/flights/trains/rental cars, packing & shopping lists, documents, 12 AI messages & 10 place searches per month, 10 saved places.

Basic β€” everything in Free, plus:

  • Travel journal & photo upload (50 MB)
  • Budget tracking with splitting
  • Packing templates (up to 3)
  • Unlimited saved places
  • Up to 3 active trips & unlimited members
  • Co-organizers (multiple editors per trip)

  • Navigation β€” GPS navigation in the app (walk & drive)
  • Offline packages β€” maps, routes & photos available offline per trip

  • Priority support
  • Unlimited trips & packing templates, 2 GB photo storage, 200 AI messages & 100 place searches per month, unlimited watchers

Basic vs. Pro at a glance Β· See the pricing overview.

All prices include VAT. Outside the eurozone, App Store and Google Play amounts may differ; the price shown at checkout applies.

What counts as an active trip? Your own ongoing and upcoming trips count towards the limit through their end date (Free: 1, Basic: 3, Pro: unlimited), using the trip creator’s configured time zone. Past trips are kept and do not use a slot; trips created by others that you are invited to do not count either. Moving a past trip back to the present or future requires a free slot. You can delete a trip you no longer need.

Yes. New accounts can try Pro free of charge for 7 days, once β€” with all Pro features. Once the trial ends, it automatically converts into a paid monthly Pro subscription at €9.99, unless you cancel beforehand. We remind you by push notification and email two days before it ends. You can cancel anytime: in the web app under Settings, or β€” for purchases made through the App Store or Google Play β€” in the respective store's subscription management. The trial is available once per account.
HoppKit Basic (€3.99/month) is for everyone who wants to capture their trips and plan as a team. It includes: travel journal & photos (50 MB), budget tracking, packing templates (3), unlimited saved places, up to 3 active trips, unlimited members & co-organizers, 80 AI messages/month and 40 place searches/month.

HoppKit Pro (€9.99/month) includes everything in Basic plus the power features: smart day & trip optimizer, GPS navigation, offline maps & packages, AI packing suggestions, itinerary wizard and priority support β€” plus unlimited trips & packing templates, 2 GB photo storage, 200 AI messages/month and 100 place searches/month.

In short: Basic = journal, budget & team. Pro = automation, navigation & offline on top.

Both plans are also available yearly (Basic €39.99 Β· Pro €89.99 β€” roughly 2 months free). See the pricing overview.

All prices include VAT. Outside the eurozone, App Store and Google Play amounts may differ; the price shown at checkout applies.

In Settings, you'll find your subscription management:
  • Upgrade β€” from Free to Basic or Pro, or from Basic to Pro at any time
  • Plan switch β€” switch between monthly and yearly plans (prorated automatically)
  • Cancellation β€” cancel directly in the app. Your subscription continues until the end of the paid period
  • Reactivation β€” as long as the period is still running, you can reverse the cancellation at any time
  • In-app purchase (iOS & Android) β€” in the mobile app you subscribe (Basic or Pro) directly through the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Existing purchases can be restored in Settings
  • Managing store subscriptions β€” a subscription bought through a store is cancelled or changed in that store's subscription settings; Settings links straight there (iOS Settings or Google Play)
Under Settings β†’ 'My Plan & Usage' you can see your current plan, how many AI messages and place searches you've used in the current period, when the counters reset, and which features your plan includes.
Open Settings, scroll to the "Subscription" section and enter your code under "Redeem code". The subscription time (Basic or Pro, depending on the code) is credited immediately and stacks with existing subscription time. Redemption is not possible while a paid subscription is active.
For relevant places (e.g. attractions, activities) you’ll find a β€œTickets” button in the day view. It opens a pre-filled search on GetYourGuide for bookable tours and tickets. This is a partner/affiliate link β€” no cookies are set and no GetYourGuide script is loaded on HoppKit. If you book, we may receive a small commission.

Trip Planning

14 Fragen
Here's how to create a new trip:
  1. Tap "New Trip" on the dashboard
  2. Enter a name for your trip
  3. Select the travel dates (start and end date)
  4. Optional: Upload a cover image
  5. Tap "Create"

Afterwards, you can invite travel companions and start day planning.

There are several ways to add people to your trip:
  • Invite link β€” share a link via message. Recipients need a HoppKit account and can fully collaborate
  • Guest link β€” a public link without login. Guests can see the day plan and map, but no private data (learn more)
  • Viewer role β€” members with restricted access (learn more)
How to invite:
  1. Open your trip
  2. Go to "More" β†’ "Members"
  3. Tap "Invite" β€” the dialog starts in "Invite via link" mode, no email address needed
  4. Tap "Create invitation link", then "Share" β€” the link goes out with a ready-made message to WhatsApp, Instagram, Messages, etc.
The link can be used multiple times and is valid for 30 days. Under "Active invitations" you can see all open links and revoke them at any time. Alternatively you can still "Invite via email" β€” that link is single-use.
If you're a member of a trip, you can leave it at any time β€” the trip creator can't leave, only delete the trip.

How to leave:

  • Web: open the trip β†’ in the bottom "More" menu you'll find the red "Leave trip" button.
  • Mobile: open the trip β†’ "More" β†’ "Trip settings" β†’ at the bottom (Danger zone) you'll find "Leave trip".

What happens to your data?

  • Shared content stays β€” journal entries with shares, shared packing/shopping lists, photos, wishlist and expenses/settlements stay with the trip so other members can keep working.
  • Private content is deleted β€” your private notes, personal packing/shopping lists and auto-share rules are removed.

Sole-admin case β€” if you're the only admin of the trip (no other admin exists), leaving is blocked. Promote another admin first and try again.

Related: Invite others, Viewer role.

Yes! All changes are synchronized in real-time. Every member sees immediately when places are added, days are rearranged, or journal entries are created. When other members make changes, an animated banner appears at the top of the screen showing who changed what β€” tapping it navigates directly to the affected item.

All changes also appear in the Activity Feed. Optionally, you can receive push notifications when others make changes.

Each trip is divided into individual days β€” for example "Tokyo Day 1" or "Arrival Day". For each day, you add places: these are attractions, restaurants, activities, or any stops you'd like to visit that day. Rearrange the order via drag & drop using the grip handle directly on each place. You can set visit times and see routes and walking times between places on the map.

Find places via the place search or the AI assistant. On the map, you can see the walking times between places. Places without a day assignment go to the wish list.

The Today view is the start screen of your trip. It shows the day plan with all places, current hotel and flight information, the weather, and the activity feed β€” an overview of all changes made by your travel companions. During the trip, you can see at a glance what's planned for today.

Before the trip the Today view shows the next planned day, afterwards the last one.

Related topics: Activity Feed Β· Flights Β· Hotels

The Activity Feed (bell icon) shows all changes to your trip in real-time: added places, new hotels, flights, journal entries, and more. Each entry shows who changed what and when. Unread activities are highlighted with a badge. Tapping an entry takes you directly to the affected item.

You can also enable push notifications for changes.

HoppKit offers two optimization modes (part of HoppKit Pro):

Day optimization β€” calculates the shortest route between your places, taking walking times and opening hours into account.

  1. Open a travel day
  2. Tap the magic wand icon
  3. Review the suggestion (new order is displayed)
  4. Tap "Apply"

Trip optimization β€” analyzes the entire trip and distributes places across days via geo-clustering.

  1. Go to "More" β†’ "Optimize trip"
  2. The AI analyzes all places in 4 phases
  3. Review the suggestions (places are moved between days)
  4. Accept the desired changes
Yes β€” "Optimize from location" (part of HoppKit Pro) lets the day optimizer re-plan the rest of the day from where you are right now. Already visited places stay fixed and are shown as done at the top; the remaining places are re-ordered from the current time (adjustable) in the shortest sequence.

How to use it:

  1. Open a travel day and tap the magic wand icon
  2. Choose "Optimize from location"
  3. Grant location permission once (GPS) or pick a station as your starting point
  4. Adjust the start time and tap "Apply"

Related: Day & trip optimization Β· Navigation

The wish list lets you collect places and activities you haven't assigned to a day yet.

Add a place to the wish list:

  1. Add a new place (via place search or AI assistant)
  2. Select "Wish list" as the destination instead of a day

Assign a place to a day: Drag the place via drag & drop onto a day, or use the context menu β†’ "Assign to day".

You can also ask the AI assistant to optimally integrate wish list places into your trip.

Don't confuse this with the Saved Places list β€” Saved Places is trip-independent for future trips.

In saved places you store interesting places for future trips β€” independent of a specific trip. Places are automatically grouped by city and country. You can add places to a trip at any time. On the free plan you can save up to 10 places, and from Basic it's unlimited. You can also have places saved via the AI chat.

Difference from the wishlist: saved places are trip-independent β€” you collect places here for future trips. The wishlist belongs to a specific trip.

You can create personal reminders per trip β€” e.g., "Renew passport" or "Check into hotel". Each reminder has a date and optional time with a configurable lead time (immediately, 15/30/60 min or 1 day). You'll receive a push notification when it's due. Reminders appear in the day overview and under "More" β†’ "Reminders". The AI assistant can also create reminders for you.

Make sure push notifications are enabled so you receive the reminders.

Yes! As a trip admin, you can create a public guest link. Guests can view the day plan, places, and map without logging in β€” private data like journal, expenses, or documents remain hidden. You can create up to 5 links per trip and deactivate them at any time.

For travel companions with a HoppKit account but restricted permissions, there's the Viewer role.

Members with the Viewer role have restricted access. They can see the day plan, map, hotels, flights, trains, shared journal entries, and the wish list. No access to: chat, expenses, documents, member list, packing list, shopping list, and activity feed. Viewers cannot upload photos or create journal entries.

For people without a HoppKit account, there's the public guest link.

Map & Navigation

6 Fragen
The map shows all places from your day plan at a glance:
  • Numbered markers β€” each place has a number matching the order of your plan
  • Walking routes β€” lines between places with time estimates
  • Hotel as start/end β€” your hotel is shown as the route anchor
  • Day switching β€” switch between travel days via dropdown

Add new places via the place search or the AI assistant.

Yes! Between all places on a day, walking routes with time estimates are automatically calculated. Additionally, the route from your hotel to the first place and from the last place back to the hotel is shown. On travel days, the airport appears as the start or end point instead. Train stations are not yet supported as route anchors. Routes update automatically when you rearrange places.

Details on hotel routing: How does the hotel route work?

For GPS navigation on the go: Navigation (part of HoppKit Pro).

Your hotel is automatically shown as the start and end point of your daily route. The route shows the walking path from the hotel to the first place and from the last place back. On travel days with a flight or train, the airport or station is used as the start or end instead. When changing hotels, the day starts at the old hotel and ends at the new one.

There are several ways to add places:

1. Map search (available on all plans, with a monthly search allowance: Free 10, Basic 40, Pro 100)

  1. Open the map
  2. Tap the search field
  3. Search by name, address or category
  4. Select the place and assign it to a day or the wishlist

2. Paste a Google Maps link

  1. Copy a link from Google Maps
  2. Paste it into HoppKit β€” the place is detected automatically

3. Share from other apps (mobile)

On your phone you can share places directly from Google Maps or other apps. Here's how.

4. AI assistant

Ask the AI assistant in the chat: "Show me restaurants in Tokyo" β€” and add the suggestions directly.

In the mobile app, you can share places directly from Google Maps to HoppKit (other apps such as Yelp or TripAdvisor are not recognised yet):
  1. Open the place in the other app
  2. Tap "Share"
  3. Select HoppKit from the share sheet
  4. Choose the trip and day (or wish list)

Works on iOS and Android with any app that can share a location link.

On desktop, you can copy a Google Maps link and paste it into HoppKit instead (learn more).

In the mobile app, you can navigate to your places via GPS (part of HoppKit Pro).

How to start navigation:

  1. Open a place in your day plan
  2. Tap "Route"
  3. Choose between in-app navigation, Google Maps, or Apple Maps (iOS only)
  4. Follow the turn-by-turn directions in the selected app

Your choice can be remembered and changed later in Settings under "Navigation".

On the Go

6 Fragen
Here's how to add a flight:
  1. Go to "More" β†’ "Flights"
  2. Tap "Add flight"
  3. Enter airline, flight number, departure/arrival times, and airports
  4. Optional: add booking reference, seat, and price

Flight status tracking: HoppKit automatically checks the status of your flight (scheduled, delayed, departed, landed). You'll be notified of changes via push notification.

Airports are automatically used as start or end points on travel days. Flight costs are included in the budget overview.

Here's how to add a train connection:
  1. Go to "More" β†’ "Trains"
  2. Tap "Add train"
  3. Enter departure/arrival station, times, and train type (ICE, TGV, Shinkansen, Regional, etc.)
  4. Optional: add class, seat, booking reference, and price

Stations are linked to Google Maps locations and shown on the map. On travel days, the station is used as a start or end point. Costs are included in the budget overview.

Here's how to add a hotel:
  1. Go to "More" β†’ "Hotels"
  2. Tap "Add hotel"
  3. Enter check-in/check-out, number of guests, and the location
  4. Optional: add booking reference and price

Your hotel is automatically used as the start and end point of your daily routes.

Hotel change: If you change hotels during the trip, the changeover day starts at the old hotel and ends at the new hotel.

Hotel costs are automatically included in the budget overview.

Yes! In the Rental Cars tab in the More menu, you can add rental vehicles with rental company, vehicle type, pickup and return location, and times. Booking reference, price, and cost splitting between travel companions are also supported. Pickup and return locations are linked to Google Maps places and shown on the map. Costs are automatically included in the budget overview.
Budget & expense tracking is available from HoppKit Basic. You can record expenses with categories (food, transport, shopping, activity, hotel, other) in any currency. Amounts in a currency other than the trip's default are converted automatically β€” the converted amount appears as a small line under the original, and the mobile app groups expenses per day with a daily total in the default currency.

Record an expense:

  1. Open the Budget tab of your trip
  2. Tap "Add expense"
  3. Choose category, amount and currency
  4. Choose who paid
  5. Optional: attach a receipt photo
  6. Confirm the split (evenly or individually)

Open items: in the Budget tab you see all outstanding shares per person β€” from expenses, hotels, flights and trains. Individual items can be marked as paid per person.

Yes. Paid bookings (hotels, trains, flights, rental cars) appear in the daily list on the check-in or departure day and are summed up in a separate "Bookings" line per day. This keeps your daily budget tracking focused on manual expenses while still making bookings visible at a glance. Filters (category, payer, shared-with) apply to the list and to the daily aggregations.

AI Assistant

7 Fragen
The AI assistant knows your entire trip plan and can, directly in the chat:
  • Suggest places β€” matching your destination and interests
  • Optimize days β€” compute the best order
  • Add flights, hotels and trains β€” straight from the chat
  • Manage lists β€” create and edit packing, wishlist and shopping list items
  • Track expenses β€” record expenses with splitting between members, retrieve summaries and balances
  • Web search β€” get up-to-date info on prices, opening hours, weather and events
  • Answer questions β€” about your destination, opening hours, tips and more

If you leave the app while an AI response is generating, it is finished in the background β€” you receive a push notification as soon as the answer is ready.

Your monthly message allowance depends on your plan (Free 12, Basic 80, Pro 200 β€” see limits).

Privacy info: Is my chat data secure?

Yes β€” the AI assistant allowance is tiered by plan and resets monthly:
  • Free: 12 messages/month
  • Basic: 80 messages/month
  • Pro: 200 messages/month (fair use)

You can see your current usage in the chat window. See the pricing overview Β· Basic vs. Pro.

Yes. Chat messages are processed via OpenRouter as an AI gateway. No training is performed on your data. Chat histories are only visible to members of your trip, not to other users.

You can find more details in our Privacy Policy.

More on this topic: Is my data secure?

Places, hotels, flights, and trains created by the AI assistant are marked with an "AI" badge. This helps you identify entries that should still be reviewed. Tapping the badge, editing, or moving the entry confirms it and the badge disappears.

More about the AI assistant: What can the AI travel assistant do?

Yes β€” tap the location icon in the chat to attach your current GPS location to the next message. The assistant can then recommend restaurants, sights, and activities nearby. GPS coordinates are not permanently stored β€” only the place name is shown in the chat history. Location data is sent to the AI service for processing.

All capabilities of the assistant: What can the AI travel assistant do?

Pro users enter a destination (a city or region), travel dates, and preferences β€” the AI automatically generates a complete day-by-day itinerary with real places. For a region, the AI spreads places across several towns. The suggested plan can be reviewed and edited before saving, and individual days can be regenerated as needed. Arrival and departure days are planned more lightly based on your chosen arrival/departure time, and the preview shows a route overview map of the whole trip.

Pro includes 5 generations per billing period. Regenerating individual days and route suggestions count separately (50 per period) and do not use up a generation.

Pro users can request an AI-generated explanation for any place in the place detail view. The AI provides a short text with background and history of the place along with practical visit tips β€” available in German, English, or French. Explanations are globally cached: the same landmark is only generated once and then immediately available to all Pro users. Deliberately free of time-sensitive facts such as prices or opening hours, so the cache stays valid long-term.

Journal & Documents

8 Fragen
In the travel journal you capture photos and text for each place. The travel journal is available from HoppKit Basic; on the free plan, existing entries remain readable.

Create a journal entry β€” two ways (web and mobile identical):

  • From the journal tab: tap the "+" button top right. A modal opens where you pick a day and place.
  • Directly at a place: open a place and tap the "Add journal entry" button at the bottom.

In the modal you can format text with a rich-text editor (bold, italic, lists, links) and attach photos. Entries are organized per place. Uploaded photos are compressed automatically and stripped of metadata. You can share entries selectively with fellow travelers.

Edit or delete your own entries: on your own entry, tap the pencil icon to edit or the trash icon to delete. These actions are only visible for your own entries.

Slideshow: in the journal tab, tap the "Slideshow" button (web) or the slideshow icon (mobile) β€” all photos of the trip are shown chronologically as full-screen slides one after another (Insta-story style). Tapping right goes forward, left goes back. On web you can also use arrow keys / ESC to close. At the end, a closing card with the trip name appears.

You can share journal entries selectively with travel companions:

Share manually:

  1. Open a journal entry
  2. Tap the share icon
  3. Select the people who should see the entry

Enable auto-sharing:

  1. Go to the journal section
  2. On the web tap the gear icon, in the mobile app tap the "Auto-share" button at the top of the journal list
  3. Enable auto-sharing
  4. Select the people β€” new entries will automatically be shared with them

Unshared entries remain private and are only visible to you.

Photos can be uploaded in journal entries and as place photos. Multi-upload is possible. Photo upload is available from HoppKit Basic (50 MB storage; Pro 2 GB).

To protect your privacy, photos are processed automatically:

  • Compression β€” max. 2048px, 80% quality (saves storage and data)
  • EXIF removal β€” location and camera data are removed

Related topics: Travel journal Β· Data security

In the Documents tab, you can upload important travel documents (max 20 MB per file).

Upload a document:

  1. Go to "More" β†’ "Documents"
  2. Tap "Upload document"
  3. Select a file (PDF, image, or other)
  4. Assign a category and optionally a travel day

Practical examples: Flight tickets, hotel bookings, insurance policies, visas, entrance tickets, rental car vouchers.

The packing list helps you pack your bags:
  1. Go to "More" β†’ "Packing list"
  2. Tap "Add item"
  3. Select a category
  4. Check off items while packing β€” the progress is displayed

The list is visible to all travel companions, so you can coordinate.

Tip: Let the AI generate packing suggestions or use packing templates for recurring trips.

In the packing list, tap "Generate suggestions". Before generating, you can optionally select weather/climate, activities (e.g. hiking, beach, sightseeing), categories, and destination-specific tips β€” the AI takes these into account. You'll see a preview and can choose which items to add. This feature is included in the Pro plan.

Related topics: Packing list Β· Packing templates

With packing templates you can create reusable packing lists at the user level β€” independent of a specific trip. Here's how it works:
  • Create β€” add new templates directly in the dashboard tab "Packing templates" (e.g. "Beach holiday", "City trip")
  • Save from trip β€” save existing trip packing lists as a template (three-dot menu in the packing list)
  • Apply to trip β€” apply a template to a trip with a preview β€” duplicates are detected automatically and skipped
  • Manage β€” edit templates, add/remove items, rename or delete
Packing templates are available from HoppKit Basic: Basic up to 3 templates, Pro unlimited. The free plan does not include packing templates.

Related topics: Packing list Β· AI packing suggestions

The shopping list comes in two variants:
  • Shared items β€” visible to all travel companions (e.g., sunscreen, snacks)
  • Personal items β€” visible only to you
Items can be organized into 6 categories (Groceries, Drugstore, Tech, Clothing, Travel Gear, Other). You can check off completed purchases and copy items to your packing list if needed.

Account & Security

13 Fragen
In Settings, you'll find the account deletion option. The process is two-step:
  • Confirm password β€” for security, you need to enter your password
  • Confirm via email β€” you'll receive a confirmation email with a link
After confirmation, a 30-day grace period begins (GDPR Art. 17). During this time, you can reverse the deletion at any time. After the period expires, all data is permanently deleted. Trips where you are the only member will also be removed.

Tip: Export your data before deletion.

Yes, your data is comprehensively protected:
  • Encryption β€” sensitive data encrypted with AES-256-GCM
  • HTTPS/TLS β€” encrypted connection for every transfer
  • No tracking β€” no analytics, no third-party cookies
  • Hosted in Germany β€” servers at Hetzner, GDPR-compliant
  • Photo protection β€” EXIF metadata is automatically removed

On AI privacy: Is my chat data secure?

Yes! In Settings, you'll find the Data Export section where you can request a GDPR data export (Art. 20 GDPR). All your data (trips, photos, documents, chat history, etc.) is compiled into a ZIP file in the background. Once the export is ready, you'll receive an email with a download link.

Yes, in Settings under "Security" you can enable TOTP-based two-factor authentication. You'll need an authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator or Authy). Upon activation, you'll receive 8 recovery codes that you can download (web) or export via the share sheet (mobile) as a backup. If you lose your authenticator device, you can log in with a recovery code. Recovery codes can be regenerated at any time in Settings.

Having issues with 2FA? See login problems.

Yes! In Settings under "Security", you'll find the "Log out all devices" option. This immediately invalidates all active sessions on all devices. When changing your password, you can also choose to automatically log out all other devices (enabled by default).
Try the following steps:
  • Reset password β€” use the "Forgot password" function on the login page
  • Clear PWA cache β€” hard refresh (Cmd+Shift+R / Ctrl+Shift+R) or unregister the Service Worker
  • 2FA issues β€” make sure your device's clock is correctly synchronized (TOTP is time-based). More about 2FA
  • Signed in with Apple/Google? β€” then there is no password; use the Apple/Google button in the app. You can set a password later in Settings. Learn more
Yes β€” in the app and on hoppkit.app. In the app you'll find β€œSign in with Apple” (iOS only) and β€œSign in with Google” (iOS and Android) on the sign-in screen; on the website both sit below the sign-in form, including when you join via an invitation link. The first time, an account without a password is created β€” your e-mail address counts as confirmed because Apple or Google verified it.

I already have an account. If the e-mail address at Apple/Google matches your existing, confirmed HoppKit account, the sign-in is linked to it automatically β€” you end up in your existing account with all your trips. With Apple: choose β€œShare My Email” the first time, not β€œHide My Email”, otherwise HoppKit doesn't know your address and creates a new account.

Set a password later. In Settings under β€œSet a password” we send you a link to additionally set a password β€” then signing in with e-mail and password works too.

Delete account. Without a password you don't need to enter one when requesting deletion β€” in the app as well as in the settings on the website; confirmation happens via the link in the e-mail. With Apple we also revoke the link to your Apple ID.

You can reach us anytime via the contact form β€” no login required. If you're logged in, use the ticket system under Settings β†’ Tickets instead β€” there you can track the status of your requests and add attachments.
You can report content from other users if it violates our community guidelines. Open the content (e.g. a journal entry or profile) and tap "Report". Choose a reason (spam, harassment, hate speech, sexual content, violence, misinformation, other) and optionally add details. We typically review reports within 24 hours and remove content or suspend accounts when violations are confirmed.
Open the user's profile in a shared trip and choose "Block". You won't see each other's content anymore, and the user can no longer invite you to any trip. You can unblock at any time under Settings β†’ Blocked users.
We typically respond to reports within 24 hours (see Terms Β§6.7/Β§6.8). You won't receive a notification about the decision β€” the reported content simply disappears if removed. For appeals against moderation decisions, contact info@agencyfourtify.de within 2 weeks.
